Job Title: Service Coordinator
Department: Homeless Services
Location: Mount Vernon
Reports to: Director of Homeless Services
Summary: Responsible for the daily operations and delivery of services to families to meet NYS OTDA Tier II, area DSS, and Westhab requirements/expectations. Works as on-site lead to coordinate daily operations of shelter staff. Must facilitate coordination between Youth Services Coordinator, Security Manager, Facility Manager, Casework staff and Childcare as well as on-site providers. Directly responsible for Administration and Social Service Department.

Education and Experiential Requirements:
Master’s Degree in social work or related field preferred and four years experience in supervision and management capacity. Strong computer, verbal, and written communication skills required. Ability to plan, to organize, and evaluate scope of services.
