SUMMARY: A key component of this job is to support and promote the residents independence by establishing care goals; teaching the residents to understand their condition, medications, and self-care skills.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Successful applicant must have strong written and verbal communication skills; must be able to provide good customer service, both in person and by telephone; must possess good organizational skills, have a high attention to detail, have the ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work assignments, and maintain confidentiality. Bi-lingual Spanish a plus. Must have at least 2 years of experience working with substance abuse, mental health and homeless and population. A bachelor's of science in nursing and current New York State RN License and Registration required.
